Founded in 1971 West & Barker, Inc. began as a small operation in Campbell, Ohio with just one extruder in a modest 1,600-square-foot facility. The three were first introduced to the industry while working at Kessler Brothers, a plastics extruder company that is no longer in business.
As demand grew, so did the company. In 1985, the West & Barker relocated to a larger 100,000-square-foot facility in Niles, Ohio, expanding production and serving a broader customer base.
What started with one extruder evolved into a full-fledged operation with 11 extrusion lines and an in-house tool-and-die shop. Ultimately, this growth established the company as a trusted supplier in the recreational vehicle (RV), window, and construction industries.
